How pricing works
How a leak detection price gets built.
We don't post prices here, because a slab in one house is not a wall in another. Here is what moves the number, and when you hear it.
What drives the cost
Four things move the price of a detection visit.
How many lines and rooms we have to survey
Whether the pipes are under a slab, in walls or in the yard
Whether a drain line needs the camera
How much time the hunt takes when the first method is not enough
What the visit includes, and what it doesn't
It includes the survey, the marks on your floor or wall and the written report with photos.
Not included: repairing the pipe
Not included: opening or patching a floor, slab or wall
Not included: drywall, tile, paint or flooring
At the visit
The tech checks the meter with you, surveys the pipes and marks the spot. You see the readings before they leave, and the report follows by email or text. We tell you on the phone whether the visit fee is credited if you hire us for the repair.
Nights and weekends
We don't take detection visits at night or on Sundays, so there is no after-hours rate. Saturday visits run 8 a.m. to noon at the same price as a weekday.
When you get the number
The visit fee, on the phone, before we schedule. A repair price, in writing, after the report and before any work. You say yes or no.
Want the visit fee?
Call and we will tell you before anyone is scheduled.
